For three months, our KrainaClub project journalists have been helping Ukrainians abroad to find housing, jobs, humanitarian aid, and adapt to new conditions by integrating into local society.
The urgent solution for one or two months planned as a channel for fast informing for evacuation opportunities and first steps in the new place turned into a news portal. And the feedback proves that the audience’s request for coordination assistance does not decrease. The last example was a post on the additional financial aid to the elderly in Poland, which caused a whole wave of questions that our team clarified from Ukraine.
We did not expect such growth when we started but can not stop while such a huge need for help. So the project is developing: we have just added reposts of our news on social networks (facebook, twitter, telegram) and the option to spread information through our platform for partner organizations and volunteers working in similar fields.
The next step – from June 15 – is launching a respective integration functionality with Telegram channels that will allow sharing of messages to everyone. On the one hand, it will speed up the exchange of useful experiences; on the other hand, it will promote the development of local channels, one of the most efficient and plain sources for Ukrainian refugees.
But our project is entirely volunteer, and we need help for further activities:
- Information – we will be happy to collaborate with other organizations and individual volunteers in Ukraine and abroad who have valuable messages for our refugees.
- Hands and time – we desperately need volunteers who might systematically take time! First of all, #journalists, #copywriters, and people to help spread information on social networks and coordinate our citizens.
- Finance – all this time, our team has been working for its resources, but unfortunately, they are not unlimited. We will be grateful to the donor organizations coordinating such projects for their decision to support us!
Now our organization – Innovative Regional Development Foundation – take care of 11 volunteer projects that help refugees, volunteers, the army, business, and all citizens of Ukraine to go through a difficult path to Victory and reconstruction of the country!
